I also saw Passing Strange, which I liked a great deal, and Young Frankenstein and Cry-Baby, which were disappointing. <BR/><BR/>I think a lot of it comes down to interesting, engaging characters. I loved the characters, the energy behind In the Heights, the poignancy of A Catered Affair. They were both great slices of life. <BR/><BR/>Cry-Baby and Young Frankenstein just never engaged me to the same extent. I wasn't laughing nearly as much as everyone else around me.
